Summary
This Colonial-style clubhouse is situated within a picturesque oceanside setting overlooking Narragansett Bay. Following several previous planning efforts, JBD worked closely with the planning committee to develop a more efficient and cost-effective design solution that enhanced both the functionality and member experience of the facility.
A primary focus of the project was the creation of a comprehensive dining complex centered around an active member bar. The renovated spaces provide a range of dining experiences, including an adult-oriented dining area and an integrated family dining environment, while establishing direct connections to expanded outdoor spaces overlooking the finishing holes and Narragansett Bay beyond.
The project also enhanced the arrival and initial member experience while introducing new opportunities for year-round engagement. Strategically located adjacent to the central member bar, new golf simulator spaces provide members with a flexible amenity that extends the club experience beyond the traditional golf season.
