Summary

The Client’s vision was to transform an historic Grand Georgian Mansion into a world-class event destination while preserving the architectural character and elegance of the original estate. JBD approached the project with a focus on seamlessly integrating the infrastructure, amenities, and functional requirements of a contemporary event facility while respecting the building’s historic identity.

The comprehensive renovation reimagined the Grand Lobby and Concourse, restored the distinctive Equestrian Bar, and introduced a refined pre-function space for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres that opens onto the Grand Terrace. The project also included a new Bridal Suite and Rotunda, designed to provide an elevated and memorable experience for wedding parties and guests.

At the heart of the facility is a grand ballroom accommodating up to 500 guests, complemented by a dedicated Salon and an additional Chapel Building. Together, these spaces create a sophisticated and versatile venue capable of hosting weddings, celebrations, and large-scale events within the distinctive setting of the historic mansion.

The completed project successfully balances historic preservation with contemporary hospitality, creating an elegant, fully integrated event facility that celebrates the grandeur of the original property while providing a world-class guest experience.
