Summary

In late 2020, despite the effects of COVID, leadership and management at the Essex Fells Country Club in Essex Fells, New Jersey realized that their facility did not meet the needs of their changing membership demographic and was in need of some significant upgrades. After polling membership through a series of focus groups, the program was determined to include a dramatic renovation to the entire main clubhouse including new member bar and dining areas as well as expansion to the outdoor spaces and improved utilization of the lower level. Also included were renovations to the locker rooms and significant improvements to the pool experience. Paddle facility improvements were also approved for a later construction phase.

With overwhelmingly approved of the plan by membership the design an d documentation process has begun with anticipated project completion in 2024 and 2025.
